The Most Recent Core Collection Case

The most recent decision added to the Core Collection is HJ (Iran) & HT (Cameroon) v Secretary of State for the Home Department, a decision rendered in United Kingdom by the Supreme Court on Wednesday, July 07, 2010, involving an applicant from Iran. A brief summary of the facts of this case is: Two gay men, one from Iran the other from Cameroon, had each been refused refugee status on the grounds that by living 'discreetly' they could and would evade the risk of being persecuted.
